Fumigation and importance
In order to break the barriers that block the development of international trade, CD Brasil believes that preventing pests or any other type of plant health problem in grains is of utmost importance in today's market. It is very important to avoid pests in cargoes that cannot be moved from containers or ships' holds and storage silos. Within the fumigation process, an environment is created which will contain an effective concentration of gas (Phosphine) at a certain temperature for a period of time enough to kill all the live infestations, thus guaranteeing the quality of the preserved product.

The phytosanitary treatment of agricultural commodities in maritime vessels is a measure determined by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply - MAPA and carried out only by an accredited company such as CD Brasil. We are authorized and issue the respective Certificates of Treatment as provided in the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 - ISPM 15.

Phytosanitary treatment of goods transported in the holds of vessels in accordance with relevant legislation (national, state, municipal and port) and following all IMO (International Maritime Organization / UN) regulations, performed by an agronomist and other professionals with efficiency and safety.
Treatments with products approved by governments around the world to fight diseases such as bird flu, Newcastle disease, salmonella, among others.
Completely effective system consisting of perforated plastic tubes positioned inside the basement that reach the floor before the grain is loaded, which guarantees the extermination of the egg and insect, once they are exposed to high concentration of gas. At the end of the loading, the recirculation equipment, specially designed to absorb the released gas and inject it deep into the holds through the pipes, results in a uniform distribution within the hold.
They are divided into two categories. Bactericides (salmonellacide): We provide salmonella control services with the application of specif products and Fungicides (Mold Zap): Application of propionic acid to exported goods in the cargo band as they are loaded onto the ship.
